Some yanks are now close to buying Dag&Red so no chance of GT trying again.

Yes Ernie - they deserve a much better following - attendances have doubled this season to 100-150. Bearing in mind just 2 leagues below Conference set up it's dire support. Too many Arsenal, Tottenham - and us too - keeping the numbers down.
Even St Albans FC (Conf South) down the road only get around 500 a game. Same reasons.

Parlour and Adams used to drink in the Crown in Billericay but more often than not they drank in Hornchurch.

He tried to buy Dagenham before Billericay. The board there didn't like the cut of his jib/background etc so rejected it.
Possibly an error given their current plight but also maybe a sensible one given what may now happen to BT if someone else wont come in with money... Could leave them in ruin.
The board at D&R accepted his offer to take over, the fans protested and the board changed their mind.
As long as there is no underlying story with Tamplin I wouldn't be surprised if he went back in for the Daggers. Not sure how the fans would take it, they fucked off Tamplin, then did enough to fuck off Glynn Hopkin when they didn't come straight back up.

No Bolty, the guy I was doing it with split up with his Mrs and moved back up to Wigan and I can’t be arsed to do solo stuff so I just do a bit of writing and recording nowadays, the coke heads of Billericay certainly wouldn’t want to listen to that!

The Crown was a great boozer a few years back, live bands on. Saturday night and a good core support of Hammers for the televised games.
A new landlord took over and tried to turn it into a nightclub with shitty DJ’s, killed it.

Eddie.... The Crown?? Decent boozer in there... watched the West Ham v Spurs 1-0 a few years back in there with a bunch of MATES... to be honest all the times i have been in and about Billericay I never noticed the tell tale signs of snow...
